Here's the scoop. Yesterday, a 17-year-old senior at Canandaigua Academy died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a bathroom of our school. The school was evacuated, as the subsequent search found 30 rounds of ammunition and 2 molotov cocktails. It has been determined that no one else was involved, and it could have been much worse, but he chose to take only his life.
The community is saddened, and the media presence is nuts. Pray.

Hi George,
First I am so happy that you and your class/school are not harmed. We see this happen all the time on the news and never think it would happen to our schools.
I will send out prayers to you, your students, your communty and the parents/siblings of the student that didn't think there was another way out and I will also pray that God forgave him/her.

George, missed talking to you twice, so now I am blogging. I read the news article. How scary for everyone. How scary that the young boy had to choose to stop living and how hard for his family to not know why. Now, please hug my grandchildren for me. I can't wait till I can do it myself.
Hope this weekend I will know when Debby's party will be.
