It appears Aunt Elaine really is not doing well. She sems to be going downhill rapidly. Here is an excert from Dons posting from thier blog:
"The doctors visit yesterday was very informative and productive. As you all know, mom has been in a rapidly decending spiral of worsening anxiety and depression. As of yesterday, she also had what we, and she thought was another case of the gout. Her doctor thinks this time her swollen foot is more a case of arthritis. Now, two days ago, Thursday afternoon, I was helping her write out her bills, and she was very concerned about a $190.00 cable bill she just received. I called the cable company, had the bill explained to us, and they adjusted it downward by $23.99. She was relieved with this. As I was writing some checks out for her to pay some other bills, she all of a sudden said "Oh, my God, I think I'm going to pass out." She put her head down on the table and started shaking all over. It was very intense, and as I held her hands and told her "Mom, talk to me!" , and "Mom look at me!", she was unresponsive. After a solid 5 minutes of shaking and no response, she started to become lucid, and I got her onto her couch. She was exhausted. After an hour or so, she was back to being as good as she gets, which is not very good........"
Sure sounds like mommy. Im sure she could use our prayers.

Between worrying about Janice and missing and hearing about Aunt Elaine it makes me really want to get out there but unfortunately right now between the time off from work and I had to use my income tax to pay my back bills (I’m sure like everyone else) and so I sit here with tears streaming down my face wishing I could be there to help our cousins go though these hard times.
Even though it must have been hard for Don to watch his Mom go through that at least Aunt Elaine wasn’t by herself. I am sending prayers out to Aunt Elaine and all my cousins.
Love,
Joyce
Hey Guys just a thought - I know all of us are broke but I opened up a paypal account, which didn't cost anything, and when it gets verified (2-3 days) I'm going to go onto Aunt Elaine's myspace (which is located on the Goodman's page on the right side of the blog) and I'm going to donate some funds to help our Colo cousins out.
I think Richy states on the section where you make the donation how much percent paypal takes from the donation.
Just a thought!
Love you all,
Joyce
