The MRI showed a herniated disk between the 4th and 5th vertebrae. I had 2 steroid shots on Tuesday, 2/17/09. Before that I was told to stop the medication I was on 3 days before the shots. By Sunday I was in agony. I could barely stand up and walk from room to room. I missed a total of 3 days of work. The shots are not a quick fix. It could take up 72 hours to take full effect.
I'm even scheduled to have more shots on Tuesday, 2/24. I can cancel them if I fell better by Monday. I am back at work and I do feel better, thought I still feel some pain and I can't walk very far. A lot of credit goes to Melissa for taking care of me the last month and a half. She's my Angel. On a lighter note, I can't believe my brother is turning 40. First it was Michelle turning 16 and now Robby turning 40 . Wow!

Sorry, Jerry. Those shots are painful and they are not a quick fix. But what about the physical therapy. You will need that also. It helps you to move differently. And Melissa is your Angel. We can see that.
