Today is Diana's 1st Anniversary up in Heaven and Danielle always puts her words to poems so I wanted to share it with her family & cousins - this is what she wrote to her:
It doesn’t even feel like its been a year
Things don’t feel the same without you here
The date was July 29th 2007
When God came down and took you to heaven
But why did he have to take you so soon
When I miss you I look up at the stars and moon
When I raise my head to look at the sky
A tear starts to come down from my eye
Your little angel will be 4 in November
In her heart she will always remember
She asks about you everyday
And sometimes I just don’t know what to say
So I tell her Mommy misses you just as much as you do
But in your heart she is always with you
People tell me you’re in a better place
But I wish you could tell me that face to face
Your wish was to see me succeed
So I’m going to live my life and continue to proceed
Proceed to live the life I’m living
Keeping you proud your wish I’m giving
