As you can see, Sandy and I are back and ready to blog (well, i am). Boston was terrific. We stopped off at Quincy first to see the homes and burial place of John Adams. Because of the HBO series, the tours were sold out when we got there. So we walked to the church, then "Peacefield", the home he lived in after his presidency.
The Newton Marriott was disappointing. The beds were great, but not much else. However, the trips into Boston were worth it. On Saturday her friend wacko & Don drove us into the city and spent the afternoon with us. They took us to the bakery called "Mike's Pastry" for canoli's. The place was a madhouse, apparently very famous for New Englanders. Canoli was good i guess.
I personaly loved Lexington. It was so beautiful. Just a nice New England town. I loved Bunker Hill & the USS Constitution. We had NO traffic going up or coming down. Well, can't wait so see everyone at jerry's house and fill ya in on more details. Here are some of the pictures we took. I love my camera :-)
